Overview
The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced recruitment for the posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) in different streams and Assistant Engineer (Civil & Electrical). The registration process started on 16 August 2025 and will remain open till 08 September 2025. A total of 841 positions are available. Assistant Engineer (Civil) | Applicants should possess a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-approved university. In addition, they must have a minimum of three years of professional experience in the planning and execution of multi-storey building projects. The prescribed age limit is 21 to 30 years, which means the candidate’s date of birth must fall between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2004 (both dates inclusive). |
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) | Applicants must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institution. In addition, they should possess a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience in the planning and execution of multi-storey construction projects. The age criteria are 21 to 30 years, meaning the candidate’s date of birth must fall between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2004 (inclusive). |
AAO (CA) | Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have successfully cleared the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). They should also be enrolled as an Associate Member of ICAI. The eligible age range is 21 to 30 years, meaning candidates should have been born between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2004 (inclusive). |
AAO (CS) | Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree and must be a certified member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The age criteria are 21 to 32 years, which means candidates must have been born between 02 August 1993 and 01 August 2004, both dates included. |
AAO (Actuarial) | Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized Indian university and must have cleared at least six papers of the examination conducted either by the Institute of Actuaries of India or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. A valid membership number is required for verification. The age limit is 21 to 30 years, meaning candidates must have been born between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2004, both dates included. |
AAO (Insurance Specialist) | Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream together with a professional qualification in Life Insurance (Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India). In addition, they must have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Life Insurance Companies regulated by IRDAI. AAO (Legal) | Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 50% marks (relaxed to 45% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates). They must be registered with the Bar Council as an Advocate and possess a minimum of two years’ professional experience, either practicing as an Advocate or working as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a bank, financial institution, statutory corporation, company, or in the State/Central Government.
